Neil Currie and Michael Mugrage met three years ago while working on a music project; Neil as investor and Michael as songwriter and producer. As the two got to know each oher, they discovered that they shared a love for similar music styles and became good friends. Although Neil is not a professional musician (he is, in fact, a leading Wall Street analyst), Neil plays in a cover band called “The Avengers” around the Greenwich, CT area at bars and at parties. When the Avengers’ bass player moved to Japan, Michael stepped in and became an “Avenger” and their friendship was cemented further.
Being lovers of acoustic music and harmonies, Neil and Michael started a side project, playing as a duet in small venues with an eclectic mix of covers and quickly called themselves “The Bards”.
